I have a Canon Pixma MG5320. We use this for everything....printing everyday thing, pictures, PL stuff....EVERYTHING.

I did just get an Epson wide format printer that will be specially for pictures, but until I find the room, I will keep using my Canon. We liked it so much, we bought it for my parents the same year we got it for us. It still works great, even after 3-4 years!!

I also have a Pixma...I think mine is MG6320 - it's not super teeny but the print quality is awesome (I think, anyway!). I bought mine around black friday last year for like $70 or something but I'm sure there are newer models now so the regular price on it probably isn't too bad.

Yep, I have a Canon Pixma too, actually my mum and grandma do as well and I find apart from the cost of ink here in NZ it is a good printer (black is $37 and color is $44). Because of the cost of ink I do a lot of my printing during semester time at university

I just got an Epson Workforce WF-7610. It's HUGE, but I love it so far! I'm finally able to print 12x12 layouts at home! Yay!!!!!!

Wow, I don't feel like such a printer noob after all now I've read this thread. I too have a Canon Pixma MG something. Ideally I'd like to have a printer thats able to print 12x12 one day though. I just cannot imagine how amazing and gratifying it would be to be able to send across a full size layout and print it off in your own 4 walls! :D

DH got me a new printer for Christmas, because all I did was complain about our old one. We've always had HP brand, and the new one is a HP envy. It's one that offers the instant ink program where you pay a monthly fee for so many prints. I'm excited to try that! For 100 prints (paper or photos) a month it's $4.99 and you can roll a max of 100 prints. They have a smaller plan, I think $2.99 for 50 prints a month. I'm hoping I like it!
