try,try again!
I too, like so many others, will be trying again at the next SugarBabe call. Rejection can be a great learning experience if you allow it to be.
I feel like one of the contestants on American Idol after singing a really bad song and waiting for the comments from Simon. But sometimes they give the contestants tips on what they should be working on to improve and so that is what I would like to know.
What are the ways in which I can improve the old portfolio. What are the things that are looked for in a future SugarBabe?
I can imagine the decision was very hard going through so many applications that were sent in so how is the process done? How do you narrow the 160 down to 6? I am sure glad I wasn't the one having to decide!
Like I said I want to learn all I can from this to better myself next time!

I just posted my advice in the Sugarbabe thread, but I will post it again here:

Stick around and keep trying. Be involved in the community. Apply for individual designer teams. Make the Sweet Shoppe your home. I still feel like I am not worthy at times and still have to pinch myself.

You have a great gallery, so I don't have any words of advice there. As for the "selection" process. I *think* Robin narrows it down to a manageable number and then all of the designers vote for the ones they want. The #1 spot gets so many points, #2 spot gets so many points, etc. All of the points are added up and the top point earners get the spots. (Robin can correct me if I am wrong).

Just looked through your gallery and you look plenty worthy to me. Beautiful work and thanks for the advice.

I agree with Jenny. Keep trying! I applied three times and didn't get in and finally got an invite months later by PM. You just never know!

Thanks. That does give a person hope.
