I'm probably not the first to think of this, but as I was sitting down just now looking at my bingo card and trying to remember what my ideas have been for each prompt it dawned on me that DUUUUH, I can stick a little note over some of the squares.

Now I'll remember what I was going to do when I sit down to scrap OR remember to capture before the event passes and I've forgotten to take pictures.

Aren't I smart?

yeah, I started doing that- and I've started adding template and kit previews too if I know I am using one.

I sometimes wonder about the logical part of my brain. :o

haha, well it only occured to me because I had a bunch of CT stuff I wanted to use and other layouts I wanted to do and was writing it out on paper...and then kicked myself LOL

Ahh! That's awesome!

I ended up making a folder on my desktop on Feb 1st... then made a folder for each challenge to stick notes in and a copy of the kit I plan to use (or put in the title which I was going to need to purchase) and a copy of the photos I plan to use. It has made things so much faster for me than last month as I can continuously scrap rather than "go hunting" between each layout. :)

Clever! I'm so inconsistent about writing notes by hand and digitally. It's like we've got one foot in the past and one foot in the digital age.

Oh my gosh, I always just wing it with everything. I should try planning a little more and see if I like it. I don't usually have a problem with time, but I love organizing so it might be fun.

Me too. Sometimes I do everything typed and printed out, and sometimes I just write out a list by hand. When I'm party planning EVERYTHING has to be written out in my planner by hand with my purple pen.

Don't ask why because I don't have the answer.

That is a great idea, I am so far behind this month with my card that I think I need to put in place a bit more organization!

Now why didn't I think of that??? I love both ideas. Adding a collection preview when you know what you want to use would save so much time! Jenn and Valerie - you are both brilliant!

I take it a step farther--I print out a page with the Bingo Board and the picture of what configurations we can use to get Bingo. Then I can handwrite my notes, check off things I've done, etc. Much as I love digital for some things, I am completely incapable of planning and organizing myself without pen and paper.

Brilliant ideas! I haven't started the challenges...I think I'm a little intimidated. But I love these ideas for getting organized for them! Hopefully I will get organized and that will spur me to get some done before the end of the month!

Great idea! I change my topics/ideas so often as I go through the month that it isn't even funny. I know when I see the prompt what layout I want to do. The layout that wants to be created is often totally different. I like the freedom though of looking at the board, choosing a prompt and going for it. Then I'll get halfway through a layout and realize it isn't quite meeting the challenge so I go in a different direction. LOL
