Can I ask you a huge favor?? Can you please go to this page and like the post for my mom, Maurine Miles Lee? She is trying to earn a slot in a contest called ZERO To 100 Mile HERO run by an amazing person in the running community. Winning this would give her coaching and help to achieve her dream of completing a 100 mile race.
If you've been friends with me(or her) for any length of time, you've seen posts about her running exploits. I remember well when she decided to finally go for her first marathon, and to fulfill that dream she had had for decades. I remember the sheer joy on her face when she crossed that finish line and realized she had done it- and the crazy joy in her face when she decided to do it again. Over the 10+ years since then, I've watched her and supported her as she has done many marathons and half marathons, trail races, ultras, multi day races and more. I remember when she decided to do a 50 mile race for her 50th birthday. I know she is more than capable of training for and completing a 100 mile race and being able to win this and have the support will mean the world to her.
