The Thickety by J.A. White (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18651970-the-thickety) - this is middle grade fantasy and I super enjoyed it..it's pretty dark though so I'd say only for mature middle graders. Great story.

The Return of the King by J.R.R. I love this thread because I'm always adding your finished books to my wish list!!

First off was Shingaling: A Wonder Story (http://www.amazon.com/Shingaling-Wonder-Story-Kindle-Single-ebook/dp/B00SPVUYK2/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1433867000&sr=1-1&keywords=shingaling) which I adored!! I thought there would be more of Auggie (which is why I got it) but I liked the cute story anyway. Faith (my youngest) has started it.

I also finished We Were Liars (http://www.amazon.com/We-Were-Liars-E-Lockhart-ebook/dp/B00FPOSDGY/ref=sr_1_1_ha?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1433867124&sr=1-1&keywords=we+were+liars). Didn't even see the twist at the end coming at all.

When You Reach Me (http://www.amazon.com/When-You-Reach-Rebecca-Stead-ebook/dp/B002FQOI0A/ref=sr_1_1_ha?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1433867196&sr=1-1&keywords=when+you+reach+me) was a fun read. I think my youngest would like it. It took me a while to figure out the plot! Fun story.

I love, love, love The Longest Ride (http://www.amazon.com/Longest-Ride-Nicholas-Sparks-ebook/dp/B00BOTU42A/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1433867268&sr=1-1&keywords=the+longest+ride). I need to watch the movie now!!! I need more stories like this.

I am currently reading Crossed (http://www.amazon.com/Crossed-Matched-Book-Ally-Condie-ebook/dp/B0052RE4MQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1433867324&sr=1-3&keywords=matched+trilogy) but am losing steam. I'm hoping something good happens soon before I put it down. Elyse keeps telling me to finish it!

I just finished reading [Sic] by Scott Kelly (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/20502736-sic). It was a quick, easy read. Different. Enjoyable. But not the best book I've ever read. I'd say 3 stars.

I just started the Selection series (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10507293-the-selection) last night, and I"m already 1/2 way through the first book. Super easy to read and entertaining. The description described it as a cross between Hunger Games & The Bachelor, and I'd say that's pretty accurate!. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

You aren't even joking! I have the first 2 books on my Kindle now, and I'm next in line for the 3rd one at the library. There's a bit of a wait for the 4th one, but I'm hoping it goes quickly!

At this point, everyone get cereal for dinner and no new kits until the books are finished. LOL

it took me a month to get through this... not sure why, didn't connect with the characters and was able to guess the twist in the storyline too early on.

the writing here is pretty decent... although found the plot and characters rather under developed. an overall meh.

I really enjoyed the writing in this one and liked the author's approach to this genre. by the end I was slightly frustrated as it left me with a lot of unanswered questions.
