How Do I (paper "cutting" ?)

Hi everyone --
I have a "how to" question. When paper scrapping I loved cutting out titles or designs with my silhouette machine and then putting paper behind and having it show through my cut design/title. How do I do that kind of thing in the digital scrapping world with Photoshop?

The easiest way is to use an inner shadow on the alpha/font - I think there is a tutorial but I'm mobile so I'll need a minute to look for it!
