Way too much going on today to get back to the computer for a QOTD, so we'll just have a two-part QOTD for tomorrow to make up for it. :p

Picture it: you've just found out that Hollywood is going to make a movie abt your life because of something you have done.

(a) What is it that you did that would be so great (or so awful!) that Hollywood would want to make a movie abt it? [This can be something in the future.]

(b) Who would play you in the movie?

My life story would be more like The Secret Life of Walter Mitty where as I am a stay at home mom I daydream what my life could be like if I did things differently.

I would like either Jennifer Lawerence or Anne Hathaway to play me but they'd both have to cut their hair short and pixie like again. :) They both seem quirky, klutzy, and unable to stop their mouths before their brains thought it through enough to play me.

I would have cured Alzheimer's and invented gasoline pump-side vending machines (Think abt it! Why do these not exist yet?!), so, of course, they would want to make a movie abt me!

Since she and I look so much alike :p, Reese Witherspoon would have to play my role and I would fight long and hard for Wilson Bethel to play the romantic lead.

my story is pretty boring... maybe highpowered career gal leaves the corporate world for sippy cups and homeschooling. Can this introverted herione make new friends after her corporate ones desert her? How did this swear like a salior gal get involved in a group filled with pastor wives? Will she manage to not make a fool of herself? :D

As who to play me... I would love Tina Fey or Melissa McCarthy... I vision a bidding war over who will play me... :D

Even I don't think I'd watch a movie about my life! My next 40 years would have to be a whole lot more interesting than my first 40! I'll need to think about this a bit...

They are totally going to want to make a movie of my life after my husband is kidnapped by terrorists and I dedicate the rest of my life to peace in the southern philippines by feeding the poor and empowering families to overcome their violent history & be the good in their own communities. Even if that's not the exact storyline, I do hold onto hope of changing the world.

I would want Michelle Pfeiffer to play me, because I stopped watching movies after I got married and I don't actually know many other actresses. : ) My celebrity knowledge is limited to the 20th century.

Mine would be a comedy about my current job (sorry can't talk about!) But it would definitely be funny with a heart of a gold. And a lot of cursing. Definitely an R movie. I am fully convinced Sandra Bullock would be dying for this role.

Do you remember the old TV programs like Private Benjamin, or China Beach? Mine would probably be something like that. I joined the army to become a medic straight after high school. After I had done my training and got a few years under my belt working in camp hospitals, I was posted to an Infantry Battalion and became a Company Medic. Females in those units were still a new thing then (the only other female in the Battalion at the time was an administration clerk), so I had lots of challenges to overcome, especially when it meant I had to go in the field, on exercise or on operations with them. It was super challenging, and I have lots of interesting story lines from that posting alone, but I loved it. You can bet I was like a mother hen to all those boys. Haha! After a few years there I got posted to the New Zealand Special Air Service Med Cell. (1NZSAS). Again, I was breaking new ground. They are the best of the best, and it was a daunting posting. Especially for females. I was the first female to be a squadron medic, and the first medic full stop, to deploy on combat operations with the unit since Vietnam. I deployed to East Timor and Afghanistan with them and provided medical support in some very trying circumstances. After one of my deployments I was awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit for medical care I had provided in a live firefight. I worked harder in that unit than I have ever worked in my life, and again I loved it. You can only work at 110% for so long however, and I burnt out after 4.5yrs, so was ready for my next posting to the Tri-Service Medical School as an instructor. I served a year or two there then got out of the Army to be a full time Mum.

I have no idea who would play me in a movie. :o

Mine would be the struggle of infertility and how we overcame it, only to deal with a difficult pregnancy and the challenges that came with that! We thankfully are all okay but it would be about my oldest son and his kyphosis brace, sensory processing disorder, etc and how we keep it all together.

Who would play me? Someone blond and tall. lol. I really don't know other than that.

hmmmm....
Maybe some sort of story about teen pregnancy I'd guess? Or teen parents overcoming the statistics?

Who would play me? I don't know... it would need to be someone young enough to play me as a teen and adult, so a younger looking person. And they would need a convincing accent and real looking strawberry blond hair.
