Which do you like better? Why? Has your opinion changed since the advent of Netflix/Hulu/binge watching?

Hmmm...I don't really have a preference though I probably watch more t.v. than I do movies.

I'm way more into TV than movies these days... I think it's because being a parent, I don't have 2 hours to sit and watch a movie (that is not a cartoon) or enough brain activity to follow a plot for long... I like shows that are 44 min or less... :D And I'm a huge binge watcher because of Netflix and Hulu... I rarely watch "live" tv.

Both really - we don't get any live TV so we watch TV and movies equally on Netflix and Hulu and keep up with my current shows through Hulu. We like going to the movie theater - it's the one form of entertainment we love doing with good friends of ours and we usually go every other week.

tv. I usually can't sit still long enough to watch a whole movie.

I used to be a huge movie buff, but the past few years there really haven't been LOTS that grab my attention as 'must see'..... so I'm a TV addict for sure. I prefer Sitcoms... ended up watching a lot of dramas when there seemed to be a sudden drop in the number of sitcoms out there, now that they are growing to be a 'thing' again, I find myself having more shows to watch than I can keep up with. So there are shows that I have to watch as they air, and others I usually wait until the season ends and then get the episodes all at once and binge watch them during the summer. I do have to say I have watched more shows since netflix... ones that I had never heard of but had been around for years... I had just missed out on them somehow when they were new.

Definitely TV. I can't keep still, I probably annoy people if I go to the movies so I avoid it lol.
I watch a LOT of TV but I also really enjoy going to the movies and we do go to the theater regularly!! I love watching stuff on demand and rarely watch live TV anymore.

TV shows... and for the past 4 months I am less interested in TV. I'm not binging on any shows and I really just watch Project Runway, Survivor and TWD right now. I watch maybe an hour or two a day? Lately, I don't enjoy sitting long enough to watch movies at home. Aaron and I do like to go to the theater on date nights and we take the kids to the movies, too. But its only about every other month.

Um, neither....
I watch the news and baseball on TV, but as for 'TV shows' and movies, thanks I'll pass....

I don't know, I don't care for either of them. I'm too busy (physically and mentally) to sit down for a tv show, much less movie. When I do watch, I'm usually doing something else because it's hard for me to sit still knowing there are other things I could do. Bing-watching....never really done it. That's more my husband and daughter's thing! We have the tv on for noise during the day, but once the little man goes to bed, tv is off and music is on!
Don't get me wrong, I do like the occasional indulgence, when I remember (The Walking Dead, Survivor and Amazing Race), but that's only if someone reminds me to watch them, or I'll forget. The same is with movies, unless someone says "sit down and watch this", I just won't do it on my own. Netflix, it's a waste of money for me, but well worth it for my family.

I love movie nights, both in the theatre with popcorn or home on our big screen, with a yummy snack and my snuggly jammies on. But we do watch more tv series than movies b/c there are so many shows I pvr and I don't get a chance to watch except for late night and on wkends so I'm always trying to catch up. Don't ask me what I watch b/c the list is long :)
About the only thing I ever watch is a movie on TV, once every now and again... oh, and Homeland each week, which I record and watch whenever I can squeeze it in, fast forwarding through all the ad breaks so it doesn't take so long. And it only runs for 12 or 14 weeks so its all over pretty quickly really. I don't have time to commit to (any other) series or binge watch anything.

Neither at the moment. I don't actually have a TV where I am at the moment. When I was house sitting in September I had a TV but hardly watched it, I preferred to be on my laptop

Both. You can't force me to pick. ;) I love movies. I love TV. I love reading. I love getting lost in other worlds.

I like both equally. I tend to fall asleep during movies though so I have to watch them in spurts or plan the timing carefully so that I can stay awake. LOL

Yes. Yes. Yes. Gimme all. I love to bingewatch tv and movies. Yes.

Neither. I'd rather read a book or scrap and listen to an audiobook. It's become a tradition that I crochet a baby blanket when someone in the family has a new baby. So once every couple of years I binge watch a show while working on a blanket; that's about the only tv I watch.

Tv I think. I love both, but my ideal is to binge watch shows. I HATE waiting a week for tv now. And movies seem so long... I can fit more episodes of a show in. Netflix is finally in Australia and seriously it's like Crack. It's the best thing ever! We hardly ever buy movies anymore, and Apple TV I buy a season pass to my must haves.

I'm more into TV shows coz I could watch an episode for less than an hour, whereas for movies, it's gonna take more than 2 hours to finish. I prefer quick entertainments, lol.

TV for me. I love my tv series although my husband and I indulges on some good movies once in a while. But most of the time I'll just wait for the dvd so I could peacefully watch it at home with some homemade popcorn.
