I spend a lot of time in my car driving for work. I'm looking for some fun, informative POD casts to listen to in the car. I need non-stressful subjects. I get sick of listening to the radio and NPR can be too heavy at times.
Any recommendations? All subjects welcome.

my hubby is obsessed with the Mac Power User podcast... those are the hosts he just had to meet so I couldn't come and hang out with you guys. I don't know the names of the others that he listens to regularly... the mac one is what he talks about all the time...

I hate opening ITunes because it takes forever to load, but I just got a bunch that I like. Hold on.

Most of the ones I listen to are business related but The Lively Show is one I like that has a good mix of topics: http://jesslively.com/livelyshow/

I LOVE the Lively Show. I have been listened for the most two months on and off. She has such insightful guests. It is all about living your life with intention.
If you are into Disney, I love Disney Story Origins. He compares the Disney movies with the source material. Educational and fun, plus they are longer podcasts. But he doesn't post very often.
I do like Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me from NPR because it is much more lighthearted than most NPR shows.

If you like funny, sometimes raunchy, with a couple of pun jokes thrown in, but about real world events (mostly scince type stuff), that wil make you go 'hmmm??' Then i reccomend We Have Concerns by Jeff Canata and Anthony Carboni . These guys make me laugh with every episode but really get me thinking about things that are really happening in the world of science and technology which I would otherwise just ignore. Even though tthey present topics in a crazy way with humor it make me feel like i'm learning and be ome more aware.
I love This American Life and To the Best of Our Knowledge, and a few others that are probably more heavy than you're looking for (On Being). I also like Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me and Stuff You Should Know--both a little more light hearted.
I've been loving listening to podcasts lately while I do my household chores. I'll have to look up some of these others.

I love the Lively Show!
A plug for my friend Kelli and her podcast Psychtech. It's about the links between psychology and technology. I've been commenting about digi scrap, but they haven't included it yet. Some are really insightful, some I don't care as much about.
And if you're nerdy like me, Hello Internet (CGP Grey and Brady Haran from channels like Numberphile) just talk about random things for a couple of hours. They aren't as nerdy, and they are such complete opposites that I laugh a lot of the time.

I didn't know Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me has a podcast! Is it just the show or is it different? I listen to it every Saturday on the radio.

I like Dave Ramsey's podcasts too. For something different, I listen to Happier with Gretchen Rubin

It is the show but sometimes there are separate bonus clips.
