Need Advice from PL'ers

I know that I am completely over thinking this but give me some advice...

My weekly project life album runs from Mon-Sun.

I am trying to figure out when to finish 2015 and when to start 2016.

By my count, this is week 52.

Should I start 2016 album on Monday Dec 28th?
Should I make a 2 page spread from 28-31 and include this in 2015 and make a 2 page spread from 1-3 and include this in 2016? I'm not sure I will have that many photos?

What are you ladies doing?

I always end each book with the last day of the year and start the new one with the first day of the next year.

If you don't have enough photos for Jan 1-3, you can always do resolutions or goals for 2016 to stretch things a bit more.

I'd call 28th Dec - Jan 3rd as week 1 in your 2016 album, then start Jan 4th-10th as week 2. You could put Dec 28th-31st as an insert in your 2015 if you felt the urge!

It bothers me to have yearly albums that don't end on 12/31 and start on 1/1. So depending on how many photos I have, I either do a spread for the partial week or combine with the weeks before and after so that each of those "weeks" is really a week and a half.

My last spread will be from December 28-31.

My first spread for 2016 will only cover 1-3rd... except I'm switching to monthly, so I guess it might go further. lol.

Normally New Years Eve and Day include enough fun that I can make a full spread out of both weeks.

I would have to have mine with Dec. 28-31 and then Jan. 1-3. It would bug me like crazy to have even half of a day of 2015 in my 2016 album!

Another calendar year here so mine will end on 12/31. But I'm also only doing a one page spread per week so it's a little easier to fill in if I don't have a ton of photos.

I'm a monthly gal but I'd just do a longer week 1 so it starts on Jan 1st if I was doing weekly

I don't do PL during December, just my Countdown to Christmas album, so I don't have the ending problem but when I start a new year, I include NYE if we end up staying up and having fun (even though it's technically -- GASP --- the old year!) & then lump the first part of January in with the first full week.

I'm doing PL again in 2016 so my first week (which I don't number, BTW, so it doesn't bother me as much to have odd weeks) will include NYE through January 9. Then I will run my weeks my regular Monday through Sunday after that.

I decided to make a Week 52 1/2 for 28-31 Dec, but I hadn't given much thought to 1-3 Jan...

I guess maybe I'll do a 10 day Week 1. I've done that in the past and it worked out ok.
