I'm rebuilding my font library since I got a new computer (I didn't transfer fonts from PC to my new Mac). Please share what are your favorite fonts. I usually go for handwritten type ones but would like to expand beyond that.
Also, would you ever pay for a font if there are so many available for free?

I am a HUGE sucker for fonts. I have way too many! I LOVE my own handwriting font, which is DJB Poppyseed. Miserably Lose is one of the best, and Bromello is an awesome script for titles and stuff. I could go on for days...

I have paid for fonts, but not in a while. I get some great script/brush fonts from creative market free! There's a few other sites that have weekly freebies.
some go to fonts I love are:
janda scrapgirl dots - for a cute handwritten print
century gothic - a basic staple, I use it a lot!
xiomara - one of my fave cursive fonts
some other ones I love are bromello, modesty, playlist.

On the subject... best font managers? I have a zillion fonts. I probably have every one I've ever downloaded on my computer but it is hard to remember them all and I can't keep them all installed because that's just too much.
Jenna Sue is a font I've used a lot lately. I used to have a list of go-to fonts, but I can't even recall half right now.

I"ve paid for some alpha brushes from the shoppe here, but I don't know if I would pay for a font, unless i absolutely had to have it. Or unless it was my own handwriting. I never did get my handwriting done in a font while Darcy was here, and I regret it!
