Anyone have any tips, suggestions, recommendations?

We're planning on going in the summer 2019, from the looks of things, I really need to start booking things like a year out, so I really want to start doing some research.

I know nothing about the area, never been that way, so any information you can give me, I'd appreciate.

I think you should do yellowstone and then glacier national park at the same time ;) That's my only suggestion. I've never done yellowstone so don't have a lot of advice.. LOL!

We spent two days in Yellowstone this past summer and felt that was more than enough. Between the people (!) and the fact that everything cool was in the ground (hard to get pics), it just wasn't our favorite. Go, see it, but definitely consider Glacier and Grand Teton (we loved both of them!)...

Do Yellowstone and Grand Teton together. Go off the beaten path. Try to stay on park. We stayed in Gardiner which is north of the park on the Montana side, at a rentalvactions.com property, which was beautiful but required lots and lots of driving around the park each day we were there. Stayed 5 days. Loved it. It's a must do. The most magical vacation my husband and I have ever had.

Now ask me about Big Bend next!!
