I might play and scrap with my easter kit and use old photos and reminisce and cry. hahaha

Oh God, these days I can barely look through my photo archives w/o weeping. Why did my kids go and grow up on me?! lol!

I'm scrapping! Or maybe I should say that's the plan if I can stay awake...this cold is wearing me out.

My kids are 13, 11, and 8 right now. I like it. :) They're still young enough to be very family oriented and give me lots of hugs. They're old enough not to come out of their rooms 5 times in 30 minutes when they should be going to sleep, and I can reason with them. The 3 of them come first for me, but that no longer takes up 23 out of every 24 hours. I love my preschool students and my little niece and nephews, but I'm also glad to go home to my bigger kids! That said--can I stop time now, please? There's no need for my kids to get even bigger and more independent than they are now.

And I agree, Rachel, I do not miss kids in diapers no matter how adorable they were. My kids are 12, 9 & 4, and they are my most favorite right now. (Though I will love when the 4 is 5 a little better, but the 12 will be 13, and I'm not sure I'm ready for that!)

Well, my day is over and I never got around to scrapping because I took a children's dose of antihistamine and spent the rest of the day sleeping it off. : ( I've got my fingers crossed that tomorrow I can get some scrapping done.
I used to scrap every single day, but I must be too old for that now.

I was almost done with a second & then my 3yo woke up crying & snotty and I had to go to bed in order to get him back to sleep. I am counting down the days until he is independent enough to pee, get dressed, and sleep on his own. :p

Me, too! :thumbdown: I've always scrapped late at night, once everyone else was asleep for the night. But these days I'm up earlier because of the kids' school schedules (Jason leaves at 6:55) and it's later before the kids are asleep. By the time I get to scrap I'm exhausted, and there are days I have work to do then anyway. My old 3-5 pages a week has turned into an average of 2, and it's making me sad.

It makes me so sad too. It's my only creative outlet and something I need to do a little every day. With that not happening, I've felt some distance and I don't like it.

I can still manage to scrap a little every day, which helps, but some days I'm falling asleep at my computer after 15 minutes and have to give up. I'm spending 3-4 days on each layout.
