My washing machine was broken for about a week, so I have some serious laundry to catch up on today. Getting together for dinner with a group of friends tonight and then going tubing on a local river tomorrow. Love weekends like this!

We leave for vacation tomorrow - so today is cleaning, packing and finishing up some work stuff before I checkout for the week. My girls are on our dance studio's competition team, so they had to help at the open house/registration day today.

Have fun on vacation! I'm jealous -- my kids start back at school in a week so no more summer vacay for us!

We just hung around the house today although I forced my daughter to play outside, do some chores, pick up her room, write, & read before I let her become an electronics zombie after dinner. :p I spent the day starting & finishing reading 'The Handmaid's Tale' after bingeing the show a couple weekends ago.

Tomorrow we're headed to church and then going bowling with my nephew. I have the kids signed up for the Kids Bowl Free program so we'll just have to pay for shoe rental. My nephew & daughter will actually bowl (with my mom supervising) while I take my son over to the toddler play area.

I made this great soup tonight that I'm still thinking about hours later. :D #youknowyoureonwhole30when
