I try and write these prompts with broad themes/concepts in mind and think that personal interpretation is key. You can certainly approach a prompt literally, or I encourage you to think about it in a different way ... take a creative approach on ways to apply prompts so that they'll work for your family. Here's a bit of extra information on a few of this month's challenges to help you get started :

#2: Photography Challenge - Whole Page...
Use a photo as your background paper or create a collage of photos that covers the entire page.

#6: Justin Font...
Click on the image below to download the font and then use it on your page.

#7: Pay it Forward - Leave Love on 15 Gallery Pages...
You leave love on 15 layouts in the gallery and then post the link to each in your tracker thread.
Use the place marker below to "hold" that spot on your card ♥
First - click on the image below ... then, once you're redirected, right click the image that appears and save it as a .png file.

#13: Participate in the SSD Blog Scraplift posted on July 1st...
On the first Sunday of each month, Sugarbabe Kim B. hosts a Scraplift challenge on the SSD Blog.
You have the entire month to play along and complete your page.

#14: Photostrips...
Use a Photostrip(s) in your layout.
example 1: Use a template [or an element from a kit] to create your own photostrip

example 2: Use an actual photo booth style photostrip in your layout

#16: Paper Challenge - Circles and Squares...
Use both circle and square paper shapes in your layout.

#19: Broaden Your Horizons...
What have you or a loved one done recently to broaden your horizons??
Read a book? Attended a summer camp? Learned a new skill? Participated in a community event? Took an art class? Taken up a new sport/activity/hobby?

#21: Hot! Hot! Hot!...
Take this one in any direction that inspires you!
Fashion... Food... Temperature... Trends... Music... Crushes/Significant Others...

#22: Scraplift - Bingo Challenge Thread...
Easy Peasy... just scraplift a page from the person who holds the spot above you in the July Bingo Challenge Thread (https://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=89241). Example: #8 will scraplift a page from the gallery of the person holding the #7 spot, and so on. If you happen to be the first person to post - ie: #2, then you'll scraplift the last person to post in the June Bingo Challenge Thread (https://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=89132).

#24: Scrap with any solo product from a July Featured Designer...
Scrap with any product that's by either Yari (https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/sweetshoppe/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=37&sort=add_date&sort_direction=0) or Allie (https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/sweetshoppe/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=29&sort=add_date&sort_direction=0).

I am not 100% sure now.. may a kit that was retired (but the designer still sells in the store) be used for a challenge?

Yes, though it is preferable to use the designer's solo instead.

Are hybrid projects eligible?
I tried to search past FAQs for the question. My apologies if it has been asked before - I didn't readily see an answer. TIA

Absolutely! As long as it works with the prompt.

E.g. for the 'Make a Splash' prompt, a hybrid invite for a pool party would be totally appropriate.
