Isn't crazy how the bigger drives are getting cheaper & cheaper? I've been on the lookout for a new EHD (my 2TB was getting close to full & is a few years old!) I found this one at costco- 5tb for $89 (https://www.costco.com/.product.3005555.html)! I'm currently copying everything from my old to my new, updating shortcuts & making sure backblaze will back up the new one. I'll keep my old one as a back up at my inlaw's house.

Anyways- it just made me think about how cheap they are getting- I paid at least that if not more for my 2TB a few years back! Oh and it comes with 4 months of PSCC/LR! Bonus! Just thought I'd share! :)

That's an awesome deal. I've got a 4TB EHD, and think we paid under $100 for it about 2 years ago.

That's an awesome price! And it's so true: prices keep going down for even better tech. #LoveIt! :)

Enjoy your new EHD!

The large ones scare me! I feel there is too much space that I will either get lazy backing up, or a virus would be hiding in the corner to get me!

I hope this one lasts you many years!!! Enjoy filling it up!

Thanks for sharing. I have many smaller EHDs and I would like to organize better using a large one but I just haven't made the time.

Great deal! That's always about what I've paid for EHDs, but I remember when that would only get you a few hundred GB!

I saw that at Costco! I'm actually planning on getting at least one. My 4TB backup is about full, and my 2TB pictures IS full. It's time to add more storage!

I grabbed one but Hubby always has to research everything before I use it so I have yet to open it... :) I have one similar from 4 yrs ago that is only 1TB so this will be super nice to have more space

I've noticed that through the years that the bigger drives are getting cheaper and the smaller drives are getting costly
