Hey gals! :w00t:
I am brand spankin' new to SSD. Just wanted to ask a quick question. Have any of you done one of those CD albums? What adhesive do you use to attach the photo paper to the CDs? TIA!!

When I did a cd album I used an Xyron 500 (http://www.xyron.com/enUS/Products/5__create-a-sticker_.html). But I think the xyron cheetah would work great also :)

Oh, and what do you use to punch holes in the CDs? I do not own ANY type of punching device. Are they expensive?

Crop-a-dile, You can find it at most craft stores.

Yep! Crop-O-Dile's are da bombe! Look for a coupon for Michael's, Hobby Lobby or JoAnn's to get it 40% off.

I agree - Xyron for adhesive and the Crop-a-dile to punch :)

If you have a DH or significant other that is handy (or if you own a drill) you can also use a very small drill bit or dremel tool to punch the holes. That's what I did for the first CD I made when I didn't have the crop-a-dile. But with a 40% off coupon you can get one for under $20 at Michaels.

I've never done them, but I have so many 'coasters' I could probably do 50 albums! LOL!

Thanks ladies! I might get a little creative since I was hoping this would be a really inexpensive project and I don't really want to buy a punch right now. But I'm sure I'll pick up a Crop-a-dile in the near future!
I need to go to some restaurants and pick me up some coasters... Just need to convince my DH to take me. ;) LOL!

Another vote for Xyron Cheetah and Crop-a-dile punch!
I just bought the Crop-a-dile a couple of weeks ago, and LOVE IT!
Before I bought it, I did a cd album and had my DH drill holes for me, and it worked pretty well.

I use the Crop-A-Dile too, but have not tried it on CDs. I used to use a special small tool, and it wasn't very expensive ($5), but I can't for the life of me remember where I ordered it from...
