Hey Hey!
Interested in cloud storage info. Do you use cloud storage? If so what one? I am looking for one that I can access all of my kits and photos from any device at any time, and to also work as a back up. Having to search multiple hard drives is driving me insane.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

Oh that's a great question! Just yesterday I moved a bunch of my stuff from one EHD to another one, because the one I have been using has gotten terribly S L O W ... I have 2 EHD's that I use and back them both up online, but don't use the service to access the files ... so am interested in hearing about options!!

I have BackBlaze and really like it. I still have my EHDs (because one copy of a digital item isn't a backup); I use BB to grab stuff every once in awhile. It's easy to set up and easy to check on. Once a month I log in and check to make sure both recent and old files are there. I pick a random year and month and check my photos. I open my DS folder and check random templates, finished LOs, and kits. That way I know BB is actually backing stuff up.
I've never had to download ALL my files or get an EHD from them, but I've heard good stories from people who lost everything from a computer crash and got an EHD with their files.

I use OneDrive. I just got a new computer and it would have been great except I went from using a C drive to a D drive. It doesn't sync automatically anymore, but I'm not sure I did all the steps. I'll try and figure it out soon. I would have loved it had I went with another C drive.

I use a professional dropbox account. Relatively inexpensive and easy to access from all my devices.

OneDrive here mostly because I can sync from my PC and my phone and access from both anywhere. Plus with my Windows Pro family subscription each PC we have gets 1TB of cloud storage

Thank you so much for all of your suggestions. I think I'll look into DB. I have close to 4TB of stuff saved, so wasn't sure how well it would save on DB and how protected it would be.
My husband thought about getting a server for the house that everyone can access. Wasn't sure if that would be better.

For scrapbooking - we have a 8TB personal server in our basement that holds all the computer hard drive back ups, layouts that are completed, finished albums, etc.... and that is all backed up to Blackblaze. My husband has said we are running out of storage... yikes! To be fair - he does a lot of audio work (in radio and so is his dad, who my hubby produces his shows) so that isn't ALL my scrapbooking - but it is a fair chunk of it, lol.

I have Backblaze as an offsite storage.
But, I also set up a NAS (Server for the house). We have all our photos on it and I can access them from any computer and phone without having them all downloaded everywhere. I haven't used it for supplies, yet, but I do use it for documents and such.
It's like having an EHD, but you can access it anywhere with internet if you set it up that way. You don't have to physically move the EHD and plug it in. All the stuff is stored on the NAS, and you just download or view what you want to look at.
It could be a better solution for you. I priced it out, and it was cheaper than buying a bunch of cloud storage for all of us to use. And I like knowing I control it, not a company.

May I ask what NAS you use?

I use backblaze. Once the initial set up is done, it continually updates from my desktop and my EHD. I've had to have them do a back-up for me at least twice. It's quite cheap and a good piece of mind.

I use iCloud for the kits, pics, and layouts that I want to have easy access to. I also use Google Drive to keep older stuff.
