do you use when creating hybrid projects? I just got my first chipboard album today and I am looking forward to putting it all together. I just want to get an idea of what everyone uses, I think I have every type of photo paper there is to have, but I don't want to waste my ink, :)
Any advice would be great!!! TIA!!

I usually just use a regular gloss photo paper. I bought a packet of high resolution printer paper the other day because it says it prints like photo quality but it doesnt. So I think I'll stick to the glossy stuff.
I tried cardstock, heavy weight paper,etc...
I like matte photo paper the best. Stick with photo paper IMO. I just bought the staples brand on sale and it worked great

I do my chipboard printing at Wal Mart and I am very happy with their Luster-I think its kinda a mix between matte and glossy!
I used Glossy on my first album and I hated it!

I use Canon Matte Photo paper. I love the look of it and it doesn't seem to need a ton of ink to achieve great results.

I use Epson Matte Presentation Paper (used to be called Photo Quality Ink Jet Paper). There is a Heavyweight version too, but since the chipboard is so thick already I find the thinner version easier to sand away on the edges (I don't use knife or scissors).
I've also used several different types of papers at Staples copy center to have my images printed on and I've been happy with all of them, but you can always get one page printed on each paper and pick the one you like the best if you go to the store with your files! :)

I use matte photo paper, I like that the best. I only use glossy when I am just printing photos (not LO's or projects).
I'm with Amy - I buy the Staples brand because they put them on sale often and you can get a really good deal then:thumbup:. The kind I use for my ink jet printer is Staples Photo Supreme Double-Sided Matte. I have a color laser printer also and use HP Matte Color Laser Photo Paper for that.

Thanks for all the input ladies! I currently have some HP everyday use photo paper in semi-gloss, so I think I will give that a try and see how it turns out. I think the semi-gloss is similiar to the Luster prints at Walmart, :)

I'm obsessed wtih any sort of semi-gloss or luster or satin finish. LOVE IT!
I also print on white cardstock a lot. I forgot which 2 kinds I have at home, but I live for a good semi-gloss paper, lol.

Another vote for the Staples Photo Supreme Double Sided Matte (http://www.staples.com/office/supplies/StaplesProductDisplay?&storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10051&partNumber=564121&cm_mmc=GoogleBase-_-Shopping-_-Office_Supplies_%253E_Photo_Paper_-_-564121-11689&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=564121) Photo Paper. I have tried printing on white cardstock, and the matte paper is much more vibrant.

I love the Epson Presentation paper, it is thin with a slight gloss. I am one for Matte paper most of the time, it depends on what I am doing though!!!

I saw your reply about using the semi-gloss... I think you'll be VERY pleased with the results! I used HP semi-gloss on most of my projects, and they turn out GREAT.
I have used matte, but for me it lacks the POP that I'm looking for. And I'm not a huge fan of gloss b/c it's just too shiny for my liking. I love the semi-gloss, and I've found that the Staples brand Satin paper makes beautiful prints too.
Can't wait to hear how it turns out!
