Okay...I'm still fairly new to the community of digi scrap and have been trying to do some challenges, however am constantly finding myself spending too much time resizing my images for upload...however when I look at others their uploaded pages seem much larger than mine. Does anyone have any tips on resizing for posting?? Any help would be much appreciated!!
Thanks!

I use a free program (you can google it) called Irfanview and I resize them 600x600 and save as a jpeg.

In Photoshop Elements I just got to "Save For Web" and then I resize to 600x600 and change the quality from "Maximum" to "High" and then it's usually good to go! :D HTH!

Well, I use an Annie Manning action, but basically resize to 600x600 and do Save For Web. :) I use CS2

I change the dpi to 72, resize it to about 540x540 (random, I know), run the unsharp mask, and then save for web and optimize it to 150kb.
I have an action that someone made over on DST, but all the action does is follow the steps that Jessica Sprague recommended on her blog. I'l see if I can dig up that post.

Oh man I am going to search for that action it would help so much!
Don't worry about your dpi, the only thing that is relevant to the size it will show up on the web is your pixel dimensions.
What program and process are you using when you save, Sheena?

Here's Annie's actions for Elements (https://www.oscraps.com/shop/product.php?productid=19505&cat=0&page=2) and for PhotoShop (https://www.oscraps.com/shop/product.php?productid=19459&cat=0&page=2). :)

I'm currently using CS3, and sometimes Photoshop Elements 5 at work since I only have CS3 on my laptop at home.
