Oooooh! I love this question. So fun!! I have a couple...
Sushi... just gross for me. This applies to most fish actually.
Paris... did not enjoy. Would not return. I actually lived in Paris for the year I turned 30 - takes some getting used to.
Ferris Wheels... I think they're terrifying. I find them boring - ha ha
Gel Manicures... I hate what they do to the nail bed.
Tequila... just nasty and smells bad. Too many barf stories involve tequila for me to want to drink it - ha ha
Snorkeling in the Open Ocean... Fine by the shore, did not enjoy Molokini in Maui. I did the Molokini thing - but it was scuba diving. As we were headed back to the boat a dolphin came around and I was the only one in the group with a shot left in my camera.
Energy drinks (Monster, red bull etc etc) Just the smell of them...![]()
Shrimp...the structure alonethe same applies to mossels YUCK!!
Cold coffee or ice tea...My mind just won't get that "cold" part I think
Beets...I just don't like themI hate beets too
Energy drinks (Monster, red bull etc etc) Just the smell of them...Just no.
Beet salad. I was at a work event for my husband and trying to act cool, but my face told the story of my distaste. People at the table were laughing at me. I'm sensing a commonality in our posts so far. Beets are one of few foods I truly do not like.
i think i'm good doing this whole life thing just the once
as a more serious answer I don't try a whole lot of things - i don't like crowds or busy places or noise so most things like that I wouldn't do. I am not a crowd person at all. Once ditched ex-husband and friends at Disneyland because I couldn't handle the crowds. And part of why I literally had a panic attack on only reaching the first story worth of steps of the Astoria Column was that those steps were crowded with people going up and down (that they were open winding steps did not help either - first panic attack and only panic attack of my life)
I guess a massage is something I tried once and I didn't enjoy it. I'd rather just have my husband do it lol I do like massages but they are just too expensive these days. When my husband does it, it never ends at just a massage - lol
That carnival ride where you get inside like a bid drum & all stand on the edge & then it just spins incessantly. Gross.
That used to be one of my favorites at the big fair/exhibition that happens the end of summer back in Toronto - it never bothered my stomach or anything - next up, The Zipper! That said, I am no longer that person and have no idea how I'd react now.

I took a red eye flight on a trip coming home and I will not do that again. The lack of sleep, my back pain, and my aversion to flying made it a particularly irritating trip.
I have tried sushi and I don't like it and won't give it another chance.
I love fried shrimp but boiled shrimp is a no for me, dawg.
I grew up drinking iced tea, so I have no problem drinking iced coffee. It's harder for me to have hot tea or hot coffee unless it's the dead of winter as it raises my body temp. Although the hot tea (Bigelow's Constant Comment) along with local honey and freeze dried oranges was SO soothing on my throat when I was sick for the past several weeks, that I've grown rather fond of it.
you guys need all to come to Brazil to eat good food. lol
I'm a foodie, but there are a few things that I just can't get behind. I would love to experience Brazil, but I'm a horrible traveler.
I don't like beets, but I do love cucumber and onion salad, either in a vinegar dressing or with a sour cream dressing. My mom used to like pickled beets. I'm a fan of a lot of pickles, but not beets.
our food is the best! honestly.
and I loooove beets. but not raw. cooked. with just salt. not vinegar because this ruins the beet taste. lol
there is a viral salad with cucumber, onion, etc etc. SOOO good. love it!
I didn't see the one that went viral. I think there's too much in it, but I might try it for something different.
Old Fashioned Cucumbers and Onions in Vinegar (Southern Cucumber Onion Salad)
My mom would also take dill pickles and make them into sweet pickles and they are awesome as a side with tuna or chicken salad, bbq sandwiches, etc.
about your question, Tracey...
snails - I think that is the name for the food? I ate it at @Soco's house and it was YUMMY. but once is enough. LOL
Love you, Soco! ♥

oh see this is something i do want to try but am too chicken to do it! i get motion sickness so easy and i'm scared that would happen? we have some gorgeous areas for it around here..White water rafting. Not a fan. I was terrified I would fall out so I told the guide to be sure I didn't fall out or my husband would hunt him down! ha!ha!I was on a teacher retreat and forced to go or I would not have willingly. One of the male teachers from our school was in the other raft and fell out. He was stuck under the raft for a long minute before he found his way out from under it. Our guide hooked his foot around my ankle and sat next to me to make sure I didn't fall out. I guess he didn't want my husband hunting him down! ha!ha!
