1944 Mears

I used Adventures in Memor Keeping by K. Cronin

After finishing this page, I called my dad to get a little more information on the personalities. I didn't know my youngest uncle, Richard, very well. He passed away shortly after I got married. He always had a joke to tell, but my dad said that when he was little, he seemed quite melancholy.
My did say that his older brother, Jim, was a fairly typical oldest child. He did things his way. Jim's been fun as long as I can remember- his house is where I saw fireflies for the first time.
And my dad confirmed what I already knew. He said he had the most fun of all of them, being the middle kid. He is still silly and I love that!!!

In reminiscing about the photo, Dad said he thinks this is right after his parents divorced. My grandfather had an interesting history (I'll do a page about that another time). Grandma worked at least 2 jobs for the next many, many years.
