Rachel's birthday was HIGHLY emotional for mom and me. To start the day with her early morning phone call telling me that the airline had reserved her a ticket on the wrong date, and she couldn't get a flight out, broke my heart and hers. She was in tears, I was in tears, but she decided to jump in her car and drive the 460+ miles to get here. She was nearly an hour late, but we held off on most of the festivities until she arrived.
