My daughter’s best friend lives a life that feels straight out of a story. She’s constantly traveling, modeling, and chasing new horizons, so the moment I saw this striking photo of her in a cowboy hat, I immediately knew that Trailblazer was the perfect collection to bring it to life.
I take so many photos (I mean, what scrapbooker doesn’t?), so I usually try to incorporate multiple images into my layouts. But sometimes, like in this instance, I simply don’t have additional photos from that particular day. Instead of forcing it, I leaned into the simplicity and let this one magnificent capture take center stage. The photo was already edited in black and white with a film overlay, which gave it a timeless, slightly cinematic feel right from the start.
I began by building around the image with stickers and elements, carefully placing pieces in a way that felt organic but also intentional at the same time. I distributed the word art throughout the page so it would guide the viewer’s ey
