These are photos of when my grandmother went to visit her brother Allen when he was stationed at Camp Kearny in 1918. Camp Kearny is now the site of UCSD and the road they are marching down is the same road I drive on when going to work! The post card is one that he sent home when his ship safely arrived overseas. I LOVE that she saved all these…THIS is why we scrapbook~!
