Journaling reads: Les Buissonnets (the Little Bushes) was the house of St Therese for 11 years, when her family moved here after their mother died. It was only here that Therese described herself as „truly happy„. Mom and I visited Les Buissonnets on a rainy afternoon, but the rains didn’t dampen the feeling of awe we had when we walked in the footsteps of St Therese. We saw herroom, her First Communion dress, her writing table, her bed. Her spirit and that of her sisters truly live on at Les Buissonnets.
