so for the sugar free challenge # 35...sacrifice...
journaling reads:
so I never imagined I would
spend the past 17 years in the Navy. I
have sacrificed a steady home for my
kids and any real stability in their
lives since we are alwyas on the move
every 3-4 years. We have also sacrificed
seeing my own family in VA and Matt’s
family in OR for the same exact
reason of being on the move
constantly. Do I regret any of it....of
coarse NOT... if it were not for the Navy
I would not have the wonderful family
that you see today...would I do
it all over again...CERTAINLY
To quote my Grandad right
before I enlisted “Don’t
run off and get married &
pregnant”..well if I had
listened to his advice, I
wouldn’t have the GREAT
family that I have today!
and I’m certain that he is
looking down us and smiling
