Journaling says:
Meeting the characters at Disneyland was an amazing experience for Henry. I don’t think he really understood what was happening, but he was very, very into it. When we first arrived at the park, right by the Main Street Mad Hatter store, a few characters were just finishing up and leaving. We heard that they’d be back soon, so we waited. We sat and talked and then, suddenly, out came Donald Duck. Henry was so surprised and greeted with a loud, OH, HI!” Then came Goofy and Minnie Mouse. He loved Minnie. She got right down near him, he placed his autograph book on her nose and then knocked it off, giggling. Minnie giggled, too. Later on, we ran across Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore and Tigger and Henry REALLY loved Pooh Bear. He touched Pooh’s tummy and we sang the Winnie the Pooh song to him and he danced a bit. The best, however, was the king himself, Mickey. Henry got so excited, he wanted to throw things at him.
