Journaling: Jeremy was marching in the Memorial day parade and got to play the “echo part” in taps at the ceremony afterwards, so we all went up to see him. It meant the kids sleeping in their clothes, packing a breakfast picnic and some creativity in keeping the little ones amused, but it was worth it! Jeremy was awesome, the kids got a ton of candy, we heard an inspiring tribute, & made great family memories!
