This is my son a very long time ago at his first fair:
You went to the fair for the first time at the age of 4. Your Grandma and I took advantage of a beautiful September day to drive you to Waterford for the fun and games. And we did it all, or at least as much as a 4 year old can do. You saw all the animals, ate all the junk food you wanted and rode every kid ride there. You even won a goldfish at the ball toss game. Your very first pet. That little guy lived forever. We had a great time and I wasn't surprised when you fell asleep on the way home, goldfish bag tight in hand.
