My DD at her first tr(y)athlon. This particular event is run every year in Australia with about 5 locations on the east coast. Its a really fun day out and I love that it encourages the kids just to participate. There are no times taken and no places given. While I love a bit of competition I think events that provide a balance are a very refreshing concept. Its not always about winning - unfortunately so many of the kids events these days are!
