Ever since Jenna was born,
I have been trying to spend
some extra quality time with
just Jordan. We’ve been going
to see a few movies and the last
one we went to see was Disney’s
UP in 3D. I have to say that I
was pleasantly surprised with
it. I didn’t think I’d like it,
but ended up enjoying it just
as much as Jordan. However,
as I watched, I couldn’t help
thinking of my grandpa. I know
that this is an animated film,
but the resemblance between
the main character and my
grandpa is uncanny. I searched
for a photo of him to use on this
page and couldn’t find any recent
ones. Sadly, with his passing away
last year, I don’t have the
opportunity to get any now.
I guess the moral of both my
story and the story of UP is
to enjoy life to the fullest
while you can. You never know
when it will be too late. Do not
take life for granted.
