What she said!

Though St. Louis is drivable for me too . . . ;)

MelissaL88 04-10-2009 04:57 PM

I'm flexible. I could do any of the cities mentioned.

Stacey42 04-10-2009 05:19 PM

DC is a great place! Lots of stuff to do in DC...the Smithsonian, the Zoo, the White House..all those monuments to visit....plenty of hotels to host a gathering....

Amber1279 04-10-2009 05:21 PM

Everyone knows that SSD is based in Arizona :D That is where is needs to be. We should do it in the Winter so you can all escape your snow, wind & rain :)

Leah 04-10-2009 05:39 PM

I'm going to vote somewhere relatively central! LOL

And the zoo is free. :p

I love the sound of st louis! I would be right there... I'm moving to Kansas City... but still about 4 hours out that's it.

Since the economy's so bad, let's plan for next summer...when I'm in America! Or if you do a convention before then, you must promise to have another one while I'm home, kay? And I woudl travel ANYwhere in America to meet you gals!

Totally agree with Kellie!

My 10 year reunion is this year, and we're moving and I've already got to go to DC to get my car.

Next year would be better for me too. LOL!

digideb 04-10-2009 07:26 PM

Yeah, we're going on a 2 week road trip to California this summer for my brothers wedding this summer. Nothing planned for next summer yet though & that'd give us plenty of time to save!

lovely1m 04-10-2009 07:59 PM

I vote for Minneapolis! Its central if you include Canada. Plus there's a free zoo there, too. :)

rachaelsscraps 04-10-2009 08:38 PM

I totally agree with next year!!!! I can't really travel much anymore now that I'm in the 3rd trimester! :)

rach3975 04-10-2009 08:42 PM

I'd be all over something in the mid-Atlantic or New England. I don't think I'd be able to make anything farther away than that.

If we're doing it next summer, it'll have to be close to me for me to come, because next June is our big two week Disney trip and I'll have no more vacation and also probably no more money.

LOL

Please??!! lol:thumbup::wub::w00t::o

my3hens 04-10-2009 10:37 PM

I agree a new england one would be doable for me. I dont think I live far from Lauren actually. She lives near my inlaws anyway.

suze 04-10-2009 10:57 PM

maybe if they did it somewhere... some of the further girlies could carpool with others.

alien21xx 04-10-2009 11:21 PM

Just remember to video the convention to share with us overseas fans :D

SaraAmarie 04-11-2009 12:20 AM

Denver sounds great..

marnel 04-11-2009 09:26 AM

I'd love the New England area also ;) close to me and very do-able...

emilyscout 04-11-2009 09:30 AM

I could do New England too! I live in the midst of it :)

pbumbaca 04-11-2009 09:53 AM

I think Boston is a great location, so much history, La and I are only an hour drive, plus there's Emily, and Susan, and a few other gals that live close.

I'd be all for Boston!!!! There's Quincy Market, the Boston Aquarium and more awesome stuffs to do there!!!! Plus, I'm only a couple hours away, and my Aunt lives there!!!!

rachaelsscraps 04-11-2009 01:19 PM

I hate to say it, but we could always plan a couple of them... that way if some can't make it to one location, they can always make it to the other. KWIM? Of course there will be those lucky ones too that'll make it to both! :p

Rae's World 04-11-2009 01:22 PM

I vote NOT in Phoenix!!!! too hot here! You should really do like 4-5 different conventions. Split by regions. West Coast, MidWest, MidEast and East Coast. Or something like that. I would not mind driving to Colorado, Utah or Cali. Just not here. Even though there are 7 here. Defiantly a fun idea though!

Yeah, but we could do it in the fall or something when it's cold everywhere else! And Phoenix is the closest of those mentioned for me!

Sharon Kay 04-11-2009 05:21 PM

How about Kansas City? I've got a hotel here that said they would give us rooms with 2 double beds for $60 a night (share a room = $30 a night)...and they will throw in a free conference room! We're kinda centrally located here!
