i vac 2-3 times a day. i have two furry animals. and a child. who is the most disgusting person ever.
vaccuming must be done constantly.

Well, considering how much the dog sheds, I should vac on a daily basis...but there's always tons of kid stuff all over the floor.

So a couple of times a week, on average. During the summer it's more often because he sheds SO much.

every single day and sometimes 2x a day. My son eats stuff in there and it drops on the floor and I do not want ants to have any reason to come in this place!

How many times per week? Ha, ha. Not even weekly. It takes forever since everything must be cleaned up and moved first, and I have a toddler who's still very afraid of the vacuum (and all loud noises). I try to do it every other week, and may start doing it weekly when school starts in the fall. We dust bust under the kitchen table many times a week, though.

I vacuumed today for the first time since school got out in June. :)

The only rooms with carpet in the house are the bedrooms & they are too low traffic & too out of sight for me to bother with much. Once a month mostly.

But I sweep the living room & kitchen floors twice a day & mop twice a week.

It's like laundry around here...never ending.

Srsly, I can vac in the AM and by the time I'm fixing dinner, you'd wouldn't even be able to tell. Between the dog (chow/retriever mix), 3 cats (2 long haired), a 5yr old, and a DH who is home all the time, clean just doesn't happen.

That's one reason I'm sort of looking forward to all day school...I can really get some things cleaned around here!

I'm glad I'm not the only one. :D With only two of us and no pets, I don't tend to do it very often. I do sweep the kitchen almost every day though.

Every day along with the sweeping and the mopping. LOL! But we don't have carpets so the vacuuming is really just pushing the stick vac around on the hard floors.

I don't own a vacuum anymore, haven't for about 2.5 years. lol I need to get one though, since this new house has carpet in the bedrooms downstairs, and the kids tv room.
I sweep the kitchen/dining/living room every day (hardwood in dining/living room, tile in kitchen) and mop every other day. I sweep & mop the rest of the house (upstairs bedrooms & upstairs bathrooms) once a week. Jenna sweeps & mops the basement bathroom once a week as well.

Um, maybe once a week? Depends on if I am in the forum answering random questions or not. :p

I'm a slob appearantly :D Since we moved into this house last fall we got rid of our regular vacuum cleaner because a sentral air vacuum came with the house. But that thing, is dreadful to carry around and we have 3 floors!

So uhm... once a week *goes to hide*
