STUFF WE NEED FROM THE SWEET SHOPPE
 is this tread allowed. please don't kill me, designers. :D
i just wanted to say that i need a few things...anyone else need anything. :p my small teeny weeny list: rounded edges templates in different sizes. more acrylic packs...like one with all kids of weird stuff like flourishes, swirlies and stuff. paper tears, folds and stuff like that. |
String, lots o' string!

Date Stuff
Kraft Paper (love them both) |
I am with you Lizzy on the Rounded edges templates. Would make my life so much easier!
|
- More do-it-yourself alphas (can't have too many of those)
- edge templates (anything) |
I agree with the rounded edge templates!!
|
doodled borders. we don't have a pack of doodled borders do we?
|
When you say rounded edge templates, do you mean squares, rectangles and stuff with rounded corners? or layouts templates incorporated rounded corner photos places?
|
How about transparent overlays? Not to grunge/distress paper but kind of like vellum paper I guess? Hm. I've seen these around and they look awesome. Ones with a bit of pattern to them but nothing too bold, just something that would give a little extra texture to already pretty paper, kwim?
And if there's already some in the store, point me in the right direction will ya? :D |
Curved templates, like waves or hills. Because I have PSE 4 and it is really hard to make a curved line. Or text on a path, because, I can't do that either. Like a png. with text on a path.

I want round edge templates so I can do this easily - (Hope you don't mind me using you as an example Sara!) :)
https://www.sweetshoppedesigns.com/i...onditional.jpg I want to be able to have pics that are square and rectangle with rounded edges. Maybe a few diff shapes/sizes like that that I could just clip my pic or paper to.... |
I'd love some 12x12 thin doodled borders..just a thin little something for my LO lol

Yep! That's what I want also because I am to lazy to do it myself LOL! |

PREGNANCY kits (yes, I want more than one)
Second or third the doodled borders. |
ok no offense..i'm kinda giggling at the rounded templates...you know you can make a rounded square/rectangle, etc with your shape tool right? just make the radius higher like 40-50px?

you guys don't need templates! That's just as many steps as doing it yourself.
Just select your shape tool, select the rounded corner box. Draw box, simplify, put behind your paper, Ctrl+G (clip), Ctrl+E (merge) & voila. Done. ETA: LOL, I guess like 4 of us all answered at the same time, haha! |

I dont really have much of a wish list except ohhh about 2 or 300 dollars to buy everything I want from the store LOL

ROUND EDGES HOW TO!!!
Again, I am using PSE4. And I can make rounded corners. In the cookie cutter tool , I have a shape that looks like a square, and it has rounded corners. Check into it! And as for wants, I realy like those mattes that look like they have been hole punched, or like the words where every letter is connected somehow so you can group. |
I'm too lazy Misty...make the templates!!!!
|
My problem w/ doing the rounded corners myself is that in PSE5 (at least, as far as I can tell), you can't do rounded rectangles w/o making the corners look all creepy and stretched out. Squares are fine, but rectangles aren't cool.

you lazy scrappers you. always looking for an easy way out  :D :D |
My rectangles go all wonky in CS sometimes too, Jenny. Squares I can do, rectangles, not so much.
|
i tried to explain rectangles to Lizzy once in thread somewhere; i even had screen shots. you just make a rounded square with the shape tool then duplicate it and line it up and overlap it so it looks like a rectangle. duplicat it however many times you need then merge the shapes and us it as a clipping mask. maybe there's an easier way but thats how i do it. i have PSE 6. i probably suck at explaining it though, sorry.
|
You PSE scrappers, I'm pretty sure there's a way to do it that ISN'T the cookie cutter one. I'm going to install PSE3 on here and check, but yeah, I'm almost 100% sure...

EXCUSE ME!!!!!
In PSE there is a cookie cutter with rounded edges. Now I need to make a layout with it because I just started fiddling. I posted that already about 2 minutes and 20 entries ago. |
There is a BETTER one than the cookie cutter. It is in the SHAPE tool (the same one that allows you to make squares/rectangles, lines, circles/ovals). My sister is doing a screenshot, because she uses PSE still (and I can't reinstall right now because then I'd have to find the case with the serial number on it, lol).
|
I know I could probably figure it out on my own, but if there was a pack of them made with pic size square and rectangle (fairly large so they could be used large or made smaller) and a bunch of other shapes, like the skinny rectangles and such, I'd buy it.
LOL, I know I'm lazy! Hey, I have Dani's creative crops and I know I could make those, the circles and squares, but it's just easier for me. I just don't have the motivation to do it while I'm in the middle of a layout. |
