Paper Tear

Okay y'all, I'm looking for a GOOD/AWESOME/AMAZING paper tear action--not looking for paper tears that I can clip my papers to, but an actual action that gives realistic paper tears.

I have a couple from Atomic Cupcake - - remember that place?? They are quite a few years old (okay a LOT of years old), and I'm sure there has to be a newer, updated, more modern action of paper tears.

Enable me. Anyone know of any paper tear actions??

Atomic Cupcake! There's a name I haven't heard in a while. I used to have a whole bunch of her actions. I don't have any suggestions for you, but I'd sure like to hear of any.

Yup, a name of the past! I was Googling them this morning and I think they closed in 2012  I LOVED their actions and their membership that you could get to be able to get them all. My only regret is never downloading the action preview because half of my actions I have to install them, run them to remember what they do!! :D

Oh my gosh! I loved Atomic Cupcake actions. I still have SO many of them on my hard drive. Also, there used to be a site that had other actions that a lot of designers used at the time. I wish I could remember what that site was called. I have a lot of her actions still as well.

I've bought torn edge shapes/templates from sugarhillco. They sell CU products. Check them out.

Atomic Cupcake... there's a blast from the past! I used to use their stuff a lot... now it's probably lost on some long forgotten disk lol.

I'm looking at something that I can control what the shape looks like, not an actual template that I clip because then I'm limited. I'll check out Sugarhill Co though to see if one of them has an action.

You are the second person to tell me she has an action, but I can't find it and think maybe it retired

Have you tried Graphic River? I searched for torn paper action and they have a bunch. Can't vouch for any of them as I haven't used them before.

You can also try making your own. I have a tutorial here:

I saw that tutorial that you posted. I tried it, but I can't get it to look right (realistic, maybe?)

I never heard of Graphic River and will be Googling them! Thank you!
