I just realized I don't have my CD of Mama Mia put in my itunes! What are your favorite movie soundtracks that you can drive to (keep you awake)??

Thank you sooooooooooooo much ... I know it looks like I have a long list but when you listen to them 4x a week ... you need more to mix in with it.

Well, I'm normally driving with my teenagers. Or should I say, they are doing the driving. So, I have to listen to their tunes, and I'm not into either one. My son is a metalhead and my daughter is into rap - both genres I don't really like. =(

ok, I didn't scour your list, just glanced at it, so hopefully I don't copy too many songs. I love songs that I can sing along to. That's what keeps me awake driving.

Good to Go to Mexico (Toby Kieth)
Build Me Up Buttercup (The Foundations)
Downtown (Petulia Clark)
Tie a Yellow Ribbon (Allen Dale...I think)
Loser Baby (Beck)
Everytime I Look at You (Kiss) (I promise it's a good one!)
What a Day for a Daydream (Lovin' Spoonful)
Raining on the Sky (Naked) (DH and his BFF in high school deemed this the best driving song ever. I love it too!)
In the Rough (Anna Nalick)
Somebody Told Me (The Killers)
Living on a Prayer (Bon Jovi)
Hot Hot Hot (Buster Poindexter)
Nothing Better (Postal Service)
She Said Yes (Brad Paisley)
500 Miles (The Proclaimers)
Fireflies (Owl City)
It's a Great Day To Be Alive (Travis Tritt)
Jamie (Weezer)
Island in the Sun (Weezer)
Beer for my Horses (Toby Kieth)
I'm Yours (Jason Mraz)
Lucky (Jason Mraz)

Sometimes I just put in a Nat King Cole Greatest Hits.
Wicked the Musical Soundtrack
Xanadu (Olivia Newton John!)

Shrek Soundtracks

My music is so random, but hopefully you find something in there that you like. lol!

Megan!!! I missed putting that on my list ... but it is in my itunes ... that song is my LIFETIME most favorite song!!! It's in my itunes and was the very first 45 rpm I bought for our jukebox that is in our livingroom!!!! I've never had anyone else tell me they liked that song ... most people I know say they don't know it. It brings back good childhood memories for me ... :)

Actually I didn't see a single repeat song on your list ... I will go to itunes and check out every single one of them!!! ...guess I will get out to Sam's Club and buy me some itunes gift cards (they are at a slight discount there)

There are quite a few artists that are new to me ... so this will be fun. Thank you!

What about Chicago? Saturday In The Park

Legally Blonde the Musical (I saw it on Broadway so that might make a difference)

Oh my gosh! I love that song! It's been my favorite since I heard it on the radio one day on the way to piano lessons. I know it was before 6th grade, because I got my first (and only) 45rpm for my birthday (haha my brother worked at a record store in high school that also sold the Bumble Bee yoyo I wanted for my birthday). She was one of my dad's favorites too, so we dug out an old cassette recording he had of one of her records and would listen to it all of the time.

In fact, DH and I have fond memories of it too, because it was playing on the radio as we were leaving our wedding reception (which ended a bit tensely because of my crazy aunt), and it totally too away all of the bad feelings. Such a happy song! :)

I hope you like some of the songs I recommended! I like a lot on your list too. You can probably search most of them on youtube to get a good preview as well. Let me know who you like! I love sharing music!

What about The Middle or Sweetness by Jimmy Eat World? Or, lol, Shawna mentioned this on a thread a while ago, and I immediately got hooked on it: Bulletproof by La Roux. Hmm, and I see you like Matchbox Twenty  Their entire first album rocks... Not sure what else to suggest, I listen to mostly alternative/rock, but these are good songs to sing along to.
