Favorite January layout
 

The first month of 2020 is almost behind us. I don't know about you, but for me, it went fast. Too fast! And what I can tell you is that February is going to be a busy month here at SSD.

That being said, feel free to share one or two of your favorite layouts this month so we can all oooh and aah about them and leave some love. :wub:

This is my fave. It's bright and cheery, I've captured my girls in a spontaneous moment and not posed for the camera.

Here are my faves:

I had an amazing vacation at the end of the year last year. We went to a cabin in the woods. We were there ALL ALONE. It was in the middle of nowhere. The weather was terrible. We had lots of rain, but also snow and a few dry moments. Despite the weather, it was a vacation to never forget. I still think about it daily. And I love scrapping my photos. Is layout is one of them.

Another favorite is this one. It's about my hopes, wishes and dreams for 2020. I love how this layout came together thanks to Willemijnes beautiful kit and Cindy's perfect template.

I finally found my mojo at the end of the month and got three layouts in lol This one is my favorite, though, because its all about how much I was into summer this year. It was pretty great tbh :wub:

I really love this one. The colors of the kit made me use it--I love purple! The theme, when I initially saw it was like "ehh, doesn't apply to me", but this does!! My child just turned 18 and has been trying to spread her wings to fly for years! It's hard as a parent to let go! So while this was scrapped for a challenge, it was really therapeutic for me to scrap this stage because I know one day she's going to say, "Mama I'm moving out"

And this one...We had a rocky couple of months towards the end of the year. It's so easy for me as the parent to say "it'll get better", but it's hard to sit back and watch her struggle thinking "it's never going to get better" and trying to take the easy way out. I wish she would trust herself more and not believe the lies this world feeds those struggling, but believe that things have a way of working out to His glory and honor.

Hmmmm, apparently I didn't scrap a lot in January! And even when I did scrap, it didn't always make it to the gallery. But out of the handful I made, this is my favorite:

Well...looks like I only did 3 pages in January! I've been scrapping a lot, though--have been adding photos & journaling in the 42 weeks of 2019 PL that I need to catch up on (now only 12 to go!), but didn't complete any of those pages.
