Siggie question

It's been so long since I've done one that I can't remember how to size it.... help? I started working on one at the same size as the one I had before, but I am not sure I'm doing it right because when I enlarge it in PSE just to look at details, it looks fuzzy. Is that normal? I'm a dufus. LOL.

I do like 500 px wide by 300 px high at 72 ppi for scrapping mine, then trim as much white space off as possible.

I keep mine to around 450 x 200 at 72 ppi

OK, I guess I'm doing it correctly then. Thanks for the confirmation! :)

i haven't done lots of them but i start with 300 dpi because otherwise i would have to resize every little thing i put onto it in a huge manner.
when i am done, i surely resize it to 72 dpi.

Yep, that's what I do too. Design the siggie at 300dpi. When you're happy, flatten it, then resize to 72dpi.
