Full time employed gals...

Just started a full time job for the first time in quite awhile... and I'm already behind in my PL book!

How do you all find the time? Schedule it in? Do a bunch all at once?

I work but it’s at home so I’ve got some flexibility in my schedule. I try to set aside some scrap time during the week in the morning and then it’s here and there throughout the day when I take breaks from work. I like scrapping earlier rather than later in the day. Give yourself time to settle into your new routine, you’ll get it all sorted out soon.

I mostly scrap while multi-tasking at night or on the the weekend.

I agree with Rae, settling in to your schedule and getting over the initial "back to work" tired energy that comes along with it will be difficult on its own. Once you get your schedule down you'll figure out what works best for you. I'm excited about your new job (congratulations) and I hope you settle in your new schedule quickly, caught up on those PL pages and maybe we can get some coffee before we leave the end of May!

My body hates sleep so I basically scrap a lot of late nights/early mornings when awake.

Congratulations on your full time job, Val!!! I miss your PL pages, though!

I work FT and am SO behind! I have been wanting to find a chunk of time to work on my PL album! Soon! I hope!

Ok, I won't stress too much about it I guess. Settling in to my new schedule makes sense. I tried to do a PL layout last night, but by the time I got the photos in place and some papers arranged I had no brain energy to do any journaling, lol!

Man, in my pre-divorce days when I was a SAHM I had hours and hours every day to work scrapping time in. Things have changed so much!

I work full time and try as hard as I can to keep up with my PL pages. Mostly scrap at night while watching tv with my hubby. Then sometimes I'll catch up on weekends or vacations. PL pages first, then I go by those to scrap seperate pages for each event if I need to. I also journal in book form each night/week so I have it ready for when I catch up on PL pages.

Things can change so much but don't stress, go with it, it'll all sort itself out eventually. Congrats on the job BTW!

I don't find much time. I work close to 60 hours a week but on my day off I try to get a couple layouts done. Or in the evening after the gym I scrap for a hour while watching TV. I don't have as much time as I'd like right now, but it is what it is.

I don't find much time for scrapping these days - I work 45-50 hours a week and spend 10ish hours a week commuting so it doesn't leave a lot of free time. I try to scrap on the weekends but it only happens when I specifically set aside time to do it.

Congratulations on the new job, Val!!
I haven't worked in ages, so I'm no help in that area. I hope that scrapping will be something that is relaxing for you on your off hours and that you'll be able to keep up with your PL
