what story are you capturing today? i'm hoping to get a photo of the kids with the first days of their advent calendars. maybe just little fingers opening the drawer. let's hope they cooperate. :)

Today is busy for us so I'll probably get a photo of Cheyanne moving the candy cane up on her countdown to Christmas Santa. Otherwise it would be photos of her getting off to school this morning,me working about 10 hours, her at basketball practice for 2 hours, her doing homework for an hour or more and then studying for a major social studies test for a couple hours. We might find time in there to eat supper, but I'm not 100% on that :blink:

Most like it'll be of my trashed living room as I'm deep cleaning and rearranging to make room for the tree.

we were going to put up the Christmas tree but I threw my back out and Moriah has ballet today LOL... so it'll be our Christmas card and getting it ready to go out in the mail :)

Hmm... It should be getting the tree up from the basement and all the boxes of decorations and start getting the house festive... however, my Dad is leaving today (he was here for the last 2 weeks, recovering from surgery) and we have to head to wally-world to get food and stuff for him at home... so I'll have to see how much ambish I have this afternoon - or it's going to have to be a back up planned activity... :D

My plan is to take a photo of our Christmas cards ready to mail. Of course, that means that I have to finish getting them ready to mail. We'll see...

And I have to say that I'm only planning to do a layout with one photo a day instead of a DD book. However, I'm really getting the itch to maybe do a photobook. I guess I'd better decide pretty soon!

Today is advent calendars!

Today's picture will be of our Jesse Tree and the boys putting the first ornament on it.

Elvin arrived this morning with the new advent calendar & a bag of 24 books for us to read one a night until Xmas. I have a photo of him & the gifts and will try to get one of the boys or all of us reading tonight's book.

I went with the book a night thing this year specifically so I always had something 'holiday' to take a photo of. :)

Likely nothing (no photo), lol. I'll probably do some sort of journaling to open the book. Kind of like the Journal Your Christmas Manifesto. Or a photo of the mess I create while putting together more of the album base. We'll see. All our decorations are still in the attic since Jordan won't let me get them down myself.

Putting up the Christmas tree.

Welcome to December family photo or the tree whichever they decide, we still haven't decided which day to put up the tree :unsure:

Well, I think ours is going to be putting up the tree, since I tried to get it up black friday, but have just been too busy since. Today works out to be the first day we can get it up!

We didn't do an actual Advent Calendar, but rather a countdown...here's our finished project for the day...One day Naomi will cut the beard and Parker will open our book present, and the next day vice versa.

Lena that is sooo cute...we don't have anythign planned Chsritmas related {unless I can ge tthe decorations form under the stairs....} but today was pajama day for Ben & Abby at school so I did get their picture going out in their PJ's :)

Today is candy cane day! :)

My girls left for a weekend shopping with Grandma, so I took photos of their luggage, loading up the car, waving goodbye through the window... Need to journal!

Tonight I need to journal about decorating the Christmas tree (we did it a few days ago), and then I need to journal about our advent activity tonight. We turned the lights off except for the tree, and danced around to Christmas songs. Pics are still on the camera- I'll probably work those out later.
