So excited and nervous

All of our hard work has come down to today!! Our house is finally on the market. By 8am we had many confirmed showings for today! My phone has been ringing off the hook with showings since 8am! It's crazy!! I'm so nervous to have people coming in our home. But I'm excited because I'm proud of the work we've put in to the home and know the new owners will love it too!!

Here's the listing if you all want to see the beautiful photos the photographer captured on Friday!!

Oh and my husband's orders are official! We ARE moving to Fort Campbell, Kentucky!! He just got them in hand this morning. He's trying to register us for on-post housing right now. Sadly, he missed the transportation briefing by one day and has to wait until Monday morning.

Fingers crossed we are under contract by next week, we get the housing on post that I've been eyeing the last month and my husband can get transportation to move us the last week of May to coordinate with the closing of our house!

Sadly, my daughter, the dog and I are getting ready to leave the house and won't return until 7pm tonight when the last showing has left our house!

---------UPDATED-----------
After being on the market less than 2 days, the house is already under contract!! Woohoo!!
Now comes the fun part of inspection, appraisals and getting stuff ready for the yard sale so it doesn't move with us the end of next month! :D

ooh... how exciting!! Good luck - prayers for a quick sale and smooth move! Keep us posted!

Your home looks amazing! I won't be surprised if you sell quickly. Such an exciting time!

craftytam 04-03-2019 01:18 PM

I'm so excited for you, Wendy!!!

I'm also happy to have you back to scrapping. I've missed seeing your fabulous LOs. Hopefully I will be back to scrapping soon!

Leablahblah 04-03-2019 02:24 PM

Such a big house! I love the garage and shutters color!
Good luck with the sale!

Are you buying on post or is it just rentals?

Kjersti 04-03-2019 02:34 PM

Oh my gosh!! It's gorgeous. Good luck to you.

navaja77 04-03-2019 02:38 PM

It'll probably be a quick sale for you!

And wow, that price! Where I live, a 7 bd house would be $700,000+! It's interesting how the market varies across the country.

When we sold our house two years ago, I remember driving away the day we listed it, crying the whole way to my aunt's house, lol. We had 6+ showings that day, and my phone was off the hook requesting more! We had two offers that first day. I was SO emotional about the whole thing, because we'd lived there for 15 years and I really loved the house. I don't regret a thing, though, now, because where we live now is SO perfect for our season of life. I hope you have a great sales experience and that everything works out for your move to Kentucky!

Good luck Wendy - hoping your house sells quickly and that all the pieces fall easily into place for your move!

immaculeah 04-03-2019 03:59 PM

I still remember when you shared the home improvements. From the looks of it, you're going to get a LOT of offers. Best of luck, Wendy!

LJSDesigns 04-03-2019 04:23 PM

It's a gorgeous house. Good luck with everything. :)

I知 not that emotional, yet. When we drive away to leave permentely I値l probably be that way! We have 5 showings today. Our realtor said to expect to be out of the house until Sat, maybe Sun :crying:

I知 glad selling was the perfect timing/thing for you! I知 always up for an adventure, especially with the military moving us to places I壇 never think to live!

joelsgirl 04-03-2019 05:27 PM

- - - - - UPDATE - - - - -

Our home is FINALLY under contract!! We've had over 10 showings the last 24-hours. We had several offers on the table. Just now my husband and I went with the one offer that we both felt peace about! I'm so excited and now we pray that the inspection goes well, doesn't cost us too much out of pocket expenses and we can close on May 31st!
