PROM 2022!!

My daughter's senior prom was tonight! I still can't believe I have a SENIOR! I can't wait to hear about it when she gets home. Her date is a friend from her culinary CTC class. Today was the first we met him. I was shocked she even asked him and it turns out he is such a nice guy. Very proud Mommy moment! He was so chill and my daughter, Avery, seems so comfortable around him despite the fact that she always says how dumb boys are. LOL. I can't even put into words how surprised and happy I was to see them together even if they are only friends. Does that make sense?! ANyway....I just had to share these pics with you all! And now that prom is done, I have a graduation party to plan!!

Any suggestions for kits to use to scrap these photos?

What a gorgeous dress - that color is beautiful on her! My kids all went to prom with friends also - I'm just glad that they went! ;)

I didn't find any prom specific kits by searching "prom" or "prom night", but this template pack came up:

I love her dress and they look happy--I hope they had a great time! My son's senior prom was last night, too. He went with a group of friends, which is what he said most of his class did unless they were already seeing someone. He tends to be anti-dance, so I was just happy he went!

I don't know of any prom specific kits, but I'll probably use a New Year's kit to scrap the few prom photos I have. (He and his friends didn't get together for photos first, so I have some of just Jason, one that was taken and printed at the prom of his group, and possibly a few his friends send that were taken there.) Here are a few that might work for you, too:

I love the 2022 balloons and other elements in Meg's kit, but it's too pink and purple for the photos I'm scrapping. I'll probably go with Toasting the Day and use things like the congratulations banner, disco ball, etc.

She's beautiful (he looks pretty dapper too!) and I really love the color of her dress! Is his tux navy blue? I can't tell too well from the photo but I think the ribbon in her corsage is blue?

These are the kits that came to mind when I tried to think of matching colors (but not necessarily theme) for it:

Pinks and Blues:

or Pinks and Blacks:

And if you're the type to kit mix Flergs has this kit that has a lot of pretty navy blues you could mix with the right color pink from another kit:

My daughter's prom is this coming Friday. I'll be using these templates again (I also had a senior last year).

Ok, I know this is a daddy-daughter kit, but the colors and most of the WAs work perfectly w/ their outfits.

They all look so pretty/ handsome!

My 2nd youngest's prom is this week! Her oldest sister's prom was cancelled due to everything shutting down in 2020, her next sister's prom was interesting last year (the kids wanted a carnival/picnic but the parents wanted dressed up). It was on the school football field, half the kids dressed up, half wore shorts. She played lawn games with her friends in a formal dress. It was...interesting.

So this year is our first experience with an actual Prom! She is going with a few friends. She is getting a ride with the guy whom she had wanted to ask her (just as friends). The boy who was going to ask her, got set up with his friends parents and his parents and the decision was made for him to go with his family friends! It's very confusing and interesting. But in the end she will be there with the boy she wanted to ask her and the boy who was going to ask her!

She looks beautiful!!

My son's prom is Saturday! I am still in shock I have a senior too. He is going with his girlfriend. They have been together a year now. :) Started dating last summer. We bought him a nice gray suit on clearance and she has a black dress. She isn't happy that he is in gray but we are pairing it with a black shirt and shoes...I think she wanted a tux but this was way cheaper and he can wear it again
