OMG, I am so sad.

My poor baby was spayed yesterday and she came home today. She's so sad and so lethargic.

Awwww... she looks a lot like my pup! (She kind of looks like she's smiling in that pic! lol)

awww poor baby

It is so hard to see them like this. Just remember how important it was to spay her though! We had our girls done summer before last. The little one did fine but my big girl (german shepherd) was so sick. She kept throwing up and just laid around for days. I felt so bad. She recovered nicely though and is happier for it!

Julie Billingsley 09-01-2012 12:33 PM

oh poor Lily. And having to wear the cone of shame too. :( hugs and puppy kisses to her!

BrattyMeg 09-01-2012 12:52 PM

aww give her sweet puppy hugs!!

my sweet girl was like that too but man she bounced back pretty quick and has been a different (better) dog since!

jessica31876 09-01-2012 01:02 PM

poor baby. it is better in the long run though. How long does she have to wear that?

I am wondering if that will help our Australian Shepherd. She is soooooo hyper. And strong. And wants to be a lap dog even though she resembles a horse these days LOL. The combination of those three things resulted in giving me two fat lips the other day (she accidentally kicked me in the mouth with her front paw)

Aww, poor girl! It's time for me to get this done for my baby too (9 month old German Shepherd). I'm afraid.

it probably will..my baby is an aussie too. We have 2 and their personalities are NIGHT and DAY. I swear had she been my first Aussie we wouldn't have a second lol

Poor doggy! :(

I think she has to wear the cone for a week.

Poor baby isn't eating. I'm worried for her. We have a high calorie vitamin gel and she's lapping that up so I am hoping that tomorrow she's feeling up to eatring more.

what about making her a little chicken and rice? Her tummy could be upset from surgery

julia 09-02-2012 03:08 AM

Awww, it's the worst when someone is still affected by surgery and anesthetics, hope she recovers quickly!

MayS 09-02-2012 03:17 AM

Ahhh...poor baby!!!
Hope she will have a quick recovery. I've also got this done for my cat, and I had to bring her twice as she bit the stitches and had some infection, but she is doing great now.

LJSDesigns 09-02-2012 05:51 AM

Poor thing! I'd bet her yummy is upset. I also bet she will be feeling better in about a week. :)
