I also grabbed Devil Colony by James Rollins for $1.99 today! I am a HUGE Sigma Force fan and the reviews are lookin pretty awesome on this one! If you like adventure, special agents and exotic or mysterious locales/legends, I highly recommend checking him out!

Well, I bought the booked based on Mary's review here, and *I* wasn't disappointed. Maybe I'm easier to please than you. ;)

Thanks for doing this, Robin! I love a good deal, and I've hijacked the man's kindle fire, so I'm always on the lookout for things to read.

Well, I've said it multiple times, but 11/22/63 was my fave book of 2012. LOVED IT! And so glad Libby was just as enthusiastic about it as I was. :) Several of my friends bought it based on my recommendation, but I haven't heard back from many of them to see if they liked it. Hope they do!

I bought it after I saw your post on FB too, Mary. It's on my list but I'm not sure when I'll actually get to it.

Had to post this one for Darcy (free today 1/15):) I have no idea if it is any good.

Don't know how many of you have started reading the Unwind trilogy by Neal Shusterman, but . . . he wrote a book that fills in some time gaps from the first book, and it's only $1.99 for Kindle.

Homeschooling friends, here is a big deal- Charlotte Mason's Original Homeschooling Series, this collection is just .99 cents. I have no idea is it's good, but it seems like a big savings.

I'm reading this book now. I love all her books though.

Only 2.99 for Kindle...author of the Inkheart Trilogy. This is a great read for 3-5 graders (although I really liked it too :) ) << I think this deal is month long.

I love the Hangman's Daughter series...all 3 are Kindle's daily deal today for .99 each AND you can preorder The Poisoned Pilgrim for .99 too! (releases in July) If you love historical fiction these are a great light read.

Darn! I missed it - but luckily, the Hangman series is part of the Amazon prime lending library - yeah!

Bought the first one of the Hangman's Daughter, and I LOVED IT! I wish I had bought the whole set.

Very good book on sale for 3.99 for Kindle in April. In fact I recommend all of Jean Plaidy's (Eleanor Hibbert) historical novels..especially her Borgia trilogy - if you like historical fiction that is :)

Would recommend the Law of the Lycan series by Nikki Charles. A para/mystery/romantic series. All of her books are free but she does request you make a charitable contribution to an animal organization such as The Humane Society. All books can be downloaded at:

Free today for Kindle (8/26) - I loved this book. It's setting is Meridian, MS which is 20 miles from here. Meridian is called the "Queen City" b/c the Queen of the Gypsies is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery there. This book is set during the depression and touches on the gypsies and their travels through Meridian and the South at that time.

I've read that Keely..it is really good. When we were little my younger sister and I would pretend play like were Mary and Laura Ingalls..and we always made our cousin be Nelly b/c she was so spoiled lol
