We're planning a trip down to the zoo the first part of February. It'll be mid-week, since those are DH's days off...

Any tips, must sees, etc. ??

yeah...the Sac Zoo is boring. LOL Although, I think all Zoos are boring.

I think our zoo is pretty nice. :p Ha ha! The state capitol is fun history wise. There is a train museum. I don't remember what else ... I am assuming you are coming to Sacramento? If so, let's met up again (if I ma not working! :D)

LOL, I kind of feel once you've seen one zoo, you've seen them all. I didn't even realize Sac had a zoo, haha.

If it's the SF zoo, the last time went I remember thinking it was so sad. It has not aged well at all. :(

Should have specified...yes, Sacramento. We've never really taken the kids to a zoo (that little thing in Eureka doesn't count, neither does the little petting zoo thing in Bandon, OR)

Heidi, yes a little meet up would be great. (anyone else can join too!)

I might be able to sneak out of work and meet you for a coffee. :) Old Sac is fun. Railroad Museum would be fun for the kiddos.

Isn't Fairytale Town down by the Sac Zoo? I never actually went to the Sac zoo while we lived there - we went to the Folsom Zoo. But Fairytale Town would be a lot of fun! Especially for little kids :) And I second the Railroad Museum - we went when we were there last year and BLake had a ball.

Wish I lived out there still so I could meet up with you all! It was fun last time meeting Heidi, Kat & Traci!

I might be in town too...not sure when I'm coming up, but I haven't been there since November and I'm supposed to be up there every month.
