As you know, our August challenge event kicks off tomorrow, and it is going to be Ahhhh-mazing! We can't wait for you to jump into the fun, but I wanted to give you one more teaser about what's on the line... and that's a spot on the team as one of our incredible Babes!

You may have noticed that our Babes scrap a lot... and I mean a LOT! So what better way to see if you have what it takes than 31 days of scrumptious challenges to get you scrapping your heart out and showing your stuff?

Because of the nature of this "prize", rather than awarding it randomly to someone who may not really want the responsibility, we're asking you to "opt-in" to being considered for this important role on our team!

To do that, update your avatar with one of our special frames so we know that you're playing for this special prize! I've increased the size of avatars here in the forums to 200x200px, so add one of these frames in black or white to a picture of you, and update your avatar with the image so we know you want to join us! You can download the frame by clicking the images below...

It goes without saying that our Babes work really hard scrapping with our newest releases, our featured designer freebies, and our store collabs, but they also help with games, events, challenges, brainstorming and more! Our Babes are some of our biggest cheerleaders, so really give some thought into whether or not this is something YOU really want to be a part of. I am obviously biased, but I truly believe there's no better place in the digi-industry to "work" and that SSD really is the sweetest spot in town!

Once our August challenge event has ended, the designers and I will put our head's together to choose the right scrapper(s) to join our team, and it could be YOU! So, what do you think? Are you in?

There have been so many fun challenges over the years... I remember doing the Summer Games solo and with a partner. That was fun!

Quick question - if you complete a challenge too late to get the daily freebie but still do all 31 can you still be considered? (We are camping and not back until the 4th, so I can catch up then but no way to scrap before then). If not totally ok, just wanted to clarify :)

Yes! The only thing that has a 48 hour time limit is the freebie of the day. Everything else... winning your wishlist, being considered for a Babe position and earning your Sweet Rewards can all be completed by the final deadline of September 2 @ 9am EST.

ETA: This month has absolutely whipped my butt ... a couple weeks of illness, plus an out-of-town trip, and my scrap-challenge-mojo that started off so strong got kicked to the curb. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for the Blog Babe position (that would be AMAZING!), but in the meanwhile, I'm cheering on the rest of you who are working to finish these awesome challenges. You ladies are awesome!

Just got back from moving my daughter to her first real rental after the dorms... super bummed I missed the gorgeous prizes with those time limits :( A few days away wrecked such an awesome opportunity. Good luck to those trying!!!
