totally useless candy poll

amuse me.

I think Easter has the best candy. Cadbury Mini Eggs. That's all.

MamaBee 02-11-2011 06:36 PM

Okay.. I voted other as in all the above... Hee, hee... Any holiday that I can get those chocolate covered marshmallow eggs/hearts/Santas I'm a happy camper!

As a side note... when did they change the flavor of the conversation hearts? I'm use to the Necco ones and today I opened up a box for kiddo and they were softer than I remember had were tart.. they didn't say tart on the box.

ColleenSwerb 02-11-2011 06:38 PM

Cadbury Mini Eggs make my life complete.

jessica31876 02-11-2011 06:39 PM

I dont like chocolate and that seems to be the center for most of the holidays. My favorites are sour candies and cinnamon....so any time that I can get those Im happy. Most likely I guess Id say Halloween because they do have alot of those at that time. The other holidays have to much chocolate.

Amen. Don't tell my DH but I would choose those over him. I can get him anytime but those eggs are only around for a couple months. :p

KateD 02-11-2011 06:43 PM

I <3 malted milk balls and the robin's eggs that are around at Easter are just sooooo yummy!! Yes, those Cadbury eggs are wonderful, too. Easter, for sure!!

aly321 02-11-2011 06:44 PM

Another Mini Egg addict here! :) They make me so happy!

hollyxann 02-11-2011 06:45 PM

Hmm I don't know I voted Easter because I do love me some of those Cadbury eggs.

I usually buy 3 or 4 bags and hoard them for several months. I love them so much it doesn't creep me out that I'm eating candy that is that old, lolol. In college, one of my bff's nick-named them "candy coated o.r.g.a.s.m.s." :p

emmasmommy 02-11-2011 06:49 PM

hmm, i'm not a big chocolate fan...
i say halloween

kscwgirl 02-11-2011 06:52 PM

Darcy Baldwin 02-11-2011 07:53 PM

Specialty store candy shopping day...occasional holiday treats for our family...way better than any typical holiday candy around!

newfiemountiewife 02-11-2011 08:08 PM

Easter! I love Peeps!

maryinaz 02-11-2011 08:21 PM

Definitely Easter - especially the Easter candy from See's Candy.

glumirk 02-11-2011 09:46 PM

All of the above, because Seasonally shaped Reese's are the best. Although I do like the extra caramel in the Milky Way Bunnies' bellies.

Shawna Clingerman 02-11-2011 09:53 PM

I looooove conversation hearts. a lot. I like the sweethearts ones that aren't super hard or tart... sorta like.... powdered sugar in heart form. It makes me happy. :)

nanienamou 02-11-2011 10:02 PM

I'm not a sweets/chocolate kinda girls, but I love cinnamon hearts (Valentine's Day) and I always receive a box of After Eights (mint chocolate) for Christmas. Those are my favourite and I also eat one or two Cadbury Cream Eggs each year. :)

MommaTrish 02-11-2011 10:07 PM

OTHER - I don't like sweets

misfitinmn 02-11-2011 10:15 PM

Okay - I voted other because while I LOVE Cadbury Creme Eggs (mmmm...creamy filling!), my favorite is Reese's. It used to be Reese's eggs, but now they make them for practically every holiday so I am pretty much always happy! :) There's just something about that thinner layer of chocolate than the regular pb cups that just makes them soooooo yummy!!

Most definitely Easter, I <3 the Cadbury Mini Eggs! I think I go through 4 or 5 bags once I find them for sale!

jendavey 02-11-2011 10:32 PM

Easter for sure...cabury eggs ROCK!!

mrshobbes 02-11-2011 10:43 PM

I don't know but over here I'm under the impression it's during Christmas, lol :) Not too big on Halloween. The next best would probably be Easter :)

tonia 02-11-2011 10:50 PM

I'm pretty sure my kids would say Halloween after their last stash last year. I love Easter, getting all the eggs for the kids and setting up egg hunts is so much fun! - But that's all for the kids...

My favourite is probably Christmas, we have wrapped sweets it enjoy at will and all the yummy Christmas treats that we make make it all the more sweeter. I guess they're all pretty good - any excuse really

eranslow 02-11-2011 10:56 PM

I love Halloween - mainly because of Candy Corn :)

though I don't think I've ever had Mini Cadbury Eggs - must try to find some this Easter!

Agreed. 'Nuff said.

PS and Reece's PB Eggs. The eggs are the best- better than hearts @ v-day, trees @ Christmas and the regular ol' ones everyday.

They are banned there right? My girls LOVE them! They're each getting 4 of them for Valentine's Day from my MIL...she just loves giving them sugar :glare:

This. I love the chocolate covered marshamallow eggs/hearts/Santas!

Balinda 02-12-2011 01:28 AM

ermmm Easter...the Cadbury Caramel Eggs...oh to just die for.....

KyRainbow 02-12-2011 02:01 AM

Easter. Hands down. I love the caramel cadbury eggs, the cadbury mini eggs, reeses eggs, and russel stover birds nests. I don't eat the jelly beans though. Yuck.

Of course, I'm not really supposed to eat any of it...but....who can resist???

MandaT 02-12-2011 02:05 AM

Easter.
Jelly Beans--starburst or jolly rancher flavors are best. But I'll take any of it.

Ginger_79 02-12-2011 07:13 AM

I have to say christmas, because in Germany we have tons of special sweets and cookies for the season. And I just love all the cinnamon and other spices.

I am currently spreading the addiction. My BF is Nothern Irish and as we spent last holiday there, I brought a lot of christmas sweets/cookies as my gift for his family. They are already hooked on chocolate covered brittle eggs and "Vanille Kipferl". :)

Andrea Gourley 02-12-2011 07:38 AM

Perhaps I shouldn't say this for fear of being mobbed - but we have Cadburys mini eggs all year round over here and I've been eating cadburys cream eggs since before Christmas and we can get the bars of cream egg chocolate all year round too.

So is it the cadburys chocolate that you all like then? Cos that's the only chocolate I eat over here ... I love chocolate  but at Christmas I had a Hershey bar in my stocking and :( it wasn't like english chocolate at all :(

Gemma 02-12-2011 08:30 AM

Definitely Easter because it means Cadbury's Creme Eggs are out and I can buy loads of them! :)

Paula 02-12-2011 09:32 AM

I voted Easter only because I love those Reeses peanut butter eggs and even though they have made them for other holidays, they aren't as good as the Easter ones. ;)

Ginger_79 02-12-2011 10:16 AM

I get a feeling, you'd all love living in Germany. Because we do filled chocolate eggs for christmas, too. They are round and called christmas balls, but same principle. Here an example, but you get ALL sorts of fillings.
