File comparison app? Wanting to compare photos from different folders
 

I am wanting to compare photographs I have saved in different file folders. Hundreds will be duplicates -- hoping to be able to compare file name, file size, file date --

the reason is at one time I had some photographs get corrupted and I don't want to replace the good photo with the corrupted photo so hoping the file size might help with that.

It would be REALLY beneficial if I was able to see the photographs side by side before combining in a folder.

Appreciate any insight! I would really like to get these photographs straightened out for once ....they are not organized like I would like them to be!!

I've used Dup Detector (http://ccm.net/download/download-7731-dup-detector) to help identify duplicate photos. I'm not sure if it will work with corrupted files, though.

It can either compare photos in two different folders at one time or, if the files have different names, you can put them all in one folder and it will compare the contents of that folder. The results will show you a thumbnail of the photo, image size, and (I think) file size.
