Hey, hey Sweet Shoppers!

Welcome to this month's Show Off & Shout Out companion thread! This is your place to strut your stuff and give some love to the scrappers who inspire you each month including patting yourself on the back for your favorite pages too!

Rather than incorporating leaving love into this year's challenges, we decided we'd rather give you a spot to look through the This or That? gallery, leave love on your favorite pages, show off the pages you're most proud of creating this month and shout out to scrappers whose layouts really stood out to you! Best of all, we're giving away FREE stuff to say thanks for helping make our community sweet, inspiring, and uplifting too!

Here's how it works...

Our Masterpiece ... I have been playing with creative photo treatments, going for a more painterly photo. I am happy with these particular ones and liked the perspective play in creating my gallery to showcase them.

I love this artistic & motivational page by Amie. The peacock color scheme is beautiful & calming, the brushwork is so lovely and adds so much dimension and interest, and the clusters with the motivational journal strips make this a lovely piece of art that I would frame and hang so I could see it daily. Just totally gorgeous!

I have a hard time creating light, minimalist artsy pages so I'm sort of pleased that I kind of achieved it with this layout.

What I like this page is the simplicity in the design and the white space. I also like to have this as my goal for the new year.

Giving this page a shout out, because of the contrast between the photos and the elements. They do make sense as soon as you read the journaling. And that's another reason to give it a shout out.

I chose this page of mine because a) I think that the kit is 100% me, the sass, the bold colours and b) because my journaling is pretty frank and it just happened by accident, but I am super pleased and proud that I know who I am and can say it without embarrassment or anxiety.

Tjscraps - I love this layout of hers about being a dog person. Everything is perfect. The cluster is just wonderful, so full and colourful. I love the selfie-style photo, all the wonderful layers and pattern mixing and the finishing touch is the wonderful blending under the cluster.

This one by LisaMT stood out to me the most this month. The soft colors of the kit really drew me to this layout and gave me a strong appreciation for how it was used.

I was really happy with how my OLW page for this year turned out. I always scrap a page that I use as my phone's lock screen and my computer's wallpaper, and this year, I got really inspired when I realized I already had a kit perfectly themed for my word. I wanted to include as many of the great "hope" quotes Kristin included in the kit, and I love seeing this page every time I start up my computer or unlock my phone.

This page totally jumped out at me from the gallery. The blending with the photo and the paint and the glitter is just soooooo gorgeous, and I love all the snowy and blue clustering that frames the page. Absolutely stunning, all around.

I'm really happy with how this one turned out. My fave thing lately is using a temp that's for something completely diff. and modifying it for a whole other theme. This one was a chalkboard/school template and I had fun changing it to a journal style layout.

I have to join iScrap and also give a shout out to this masterpiece by craftytam! I was just in AWE when I first saw it and it's one of those layouts that makes me think "damn, wish I would've thought of that" :D I really love when scrappers have the patience to grab elements etc from a TON of kits for one layout.

Show Off: This is one of my favorites this month. This quote really resonated with me. I try to make each day count. My oldest is graduating in June and our time with him at home is limited. We really focus on experiences together, laughing a lot and just having fun. My friend Penelope took these photos of us in a moment we were just chatting and telling jokes.

(I put an extra on because one of the pages I don't think was for the This or That challenges, but I realized it too late and kept messing up trying to delete the link - sorry hope that's okay)
Show Off - This was a challenge that I was just stuck on, I think I redid the title about 10 times - then kept tweaking it because it just didn't feel right. I chose this one because it stretched me creatively and in the end I love the page that I created and am glad that I didn't just stop at good enough. The letters with all the different alphas really feels like the chaos that I know they feel as refs

Shout Out - I really loved this page by Bienejen for challenge 15 - it was just such a clever take on the challenge for the month at a glance with all the Elf photos and I adored the tree with all the pictures. The background paper was whimsical and super fun as well

Show Off - This was my favorite layout of the month for several reasons. First, it is always hard to fit so many photos on a layout and not have it look messy, but I think it it came out still looking clean. Second, the challenge I used this for was to mix up different fonts to make the title, and honestly I was going to quit part way through and just use the layout for a different challenge, but I'm glad I kept at it because in the end, the mixed up fonts ended up looking fabulous! Thanks for the inspiration, it's not a technique I do much of, but I really like it!

Shout Out - I chose this layout by EH Studios because I absolutely love how she makes the photos the focal point of her layout with the elements enhancing the page. Using the mixed color and B&W photos really makes the photos pop so much more! I actually had three layouts that were my top pics for the Shout Out, and realized that all three layouts were done by her, so I definitely think her style speaks to me.
